Kate Taylor has spent over a decade in fashion production, working with boutique creative teams in New York and Los Angeles — and a lifetime before that learning to spot the piece worth keeping. She still wears the J.Crew sandals she saved for in 1990. That eye — for craftsmanship, design, and the stories behind the things we wear — is the foundation of everything she has built since.

Her professional experience includes fashion production and work with Blue Moon Estate Sales, where she developed a deep appreciation for the history, character, and value of preowned and vintage finds. Her creative background also includes photography featured in books, reflecting a longstanding connection to visual storytelling and aesthetics.

In 2024, Kate founded THE PULL, her curated resale business focused on vintage fashion, designer finds, and exceptional pieces worth keeping in circulation. She offers private, by-appointment shopping in her in-home boutique and has brought her carefully selected finds to Lucia’s, a new upscale consignment boutique in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Kate is also the creator of THE RUNWAY GRAIL, a runway intelligence app built on a verified calendar of runway shows — the runway read through a resale lens. It connects runway research with the practical tools of the trade, so resellers can decide what is worth sourcing before the market moves, not after. It is, in her words, where the fashion knowledge lives; the judgment comes from having done the work.

Her vision extends beyond selling preowned clothing. Kate believes resale is a professional career path — one that combines fashion expertise, sourcing strategy, authentication, visual merchandising, marketing, and technology — and through THE PULL and THE RUNWAY GRAIL, she is working to make it more informed, accessible, and professionally recognized.
